About Trade Assess Australia

Trade Assess Australia is Orange College’s skills assessment service, drawing on our long-standing experience in Australia’s vocational education and training (VET) sector.

With extensive experience in the VET sector, Orange College has delivered VET programs for both domestic and international students, with a strong focus on quality training delivery, student support, and industry relevance. Trade Assess Australia builds on that foundation to provide an assessment experience that is structured, transparent, and evidence-focused. Based in Port Melbourne, our team is familiar with trade workplace expectations and brings a strong, quality-assured approach to assessment delivery.

Trade Assess Australia conducts skills assessments in line with program requirements set by Trades Recognition Australia, including eligibility rules, evidence requirements, and verification expectations. Our assessments focus on whether an applicant’s skills, knowledge, and employment experience meet the Australian benchmark for their nominated occupation. Depending on the program stream, the assessment process may include a review of documentary evidence, verification activities, a technical interview, and where required, a practical assessment.
